To experience a destination is to feel it, to immerse yourself in its natural wonder. The feeling carries with you in an unexplainable way, but a photo expresses what you encountered in that moment, allowing you to share it with the world. Our travel photographers attempt to capture the flavor of a destination, the adrenaline and thrill of it, to help not only others better understand a place, but themselves, too.

Andrei Mortila is a freelance photographer and videographer from Sinaia, Romania. He has been working professionally since 2002 and photographed at events such as the PKRA Kitesurf World Cup, FIS Ski World Cup and specializes in sports, portraits and landscape photography. He worked as a judge for different photography competitions in Romania, like I Got Shot! and PhotoRide, and also had pictures published in various magazines, and did photoshoots for athletes from Burn and Red Bull Romania.
Andrei is also the videographer/editor for a seasonal ski tip series with Alltracks Academy in Whistler. He also works as a Ski and Snowboard Instructor at the Whistler-Blackcomb Ski & Snowboard School and has a ISIA Level 4 Snowboard Instructor equivalency and Level 3 for Skiing. Andrei speaks fluent English, Spanish and Romanian and used to compete on the Romanian Olympic Team, mainly in snowboardcross, and participated in the World Junior Championships in 2004 and the World Snowboard Championship in 2005, in Whistler.
Andrei Mortila is currently residing in Whistler, B.C, Canada.
